Cameron Griffith provides physical therapy treatment for orthopaedic conditions of the upper and lower extremities, as well as
comprehensive treatment of spinal disorders and injuries, including neck and lower back pain.
Facility
SPORTS is located across the street from Foote Hospital, in the building's lower level. Our facility was officially opened in
December of 2000. SPORTS is outfitted with state-of-the-art exercise equipment and the latest, most medically-advanced electronic
modalities available today.
Appointments
For your first appointment, please arrive 5 - 10 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork. Bring or wear clothing that
will allow your injured area to be exposed for evaluation. Avoid the use of strong perfumes, as they may interfere with the
comfort of our patients. Please refrain from using cell phones in the therapy area as they may interfere with some of our
equipment. A fee will be assessed for missed appointments or those not cancelled before the close of the previous business day.
Knowing the importance of your time, we will be as efficient as possible in completing your thorough examination. An initial
complete evaluation for your injury will take approximately one hour. Follow-up appointments in physical therapy usually take
one hour based on your diagnosis. Please remember to bring your insurance information and prescription/referral to your first
appointment.
Billing
Our fees for office services are similar to those charged by other PT facilities located in the Jackson area. Most insurance
companies provide reimbursement for physician and physical therapy services. You will be expected to pay any applicable co-pays
at the time of your visit. You will need to check with your insurance company regarding coverage guidelines and any possible
deductibles, which will be billed at a later date. If you wish, we will be glad to discuss charges and establish payment plans
on an individual basis.
